ACOLBR: ACO Based Load Balancing Routing in MANET

Real-time data transmission is one of the objectives MANET (mobile ad-hoc network) to handle emergencies like a forest fire, flood, and earthquake. In this scenario, quick delivery itself challenging task for there possibility load imbalance due packet in between source-destination pairs via shortest path congestion or control overhead. paper, novel routing protocol, called ACOLBR (ACO based balancing routing), design among multiple paths source destination. The similarity environment Ant Colony inspires authors apply ACO (Ant colony optimization) technique during balance network. our proposal, two colonies ants (red/blue) carry their packets on network condition. A decision variable designed select red/blue ant transferring different parameters such as bandwidth, energy, mobility, distance. selection red means route where concentration pheromone maximum reverse true blue ant. This protocol also concerns about link failure route. Simulation results using OMNET++ show that outperforms ARA, ANTHOCNET, FACO, AODV, DSDV, DSR, CA-ARTT, MOAODV terms efficiently
